In 1718, thanks to Marquis Nicolas-Alexandre de Segur, the modern history of Chateau Latour starts taking place. Following the marriage of Alexandre de Segur and Marie-Therese de Clausel, the property became part of the de Segur family remaining in their hands for almost 300 years.
