Producer Information
Champagne de Venoge is a leading Champagne house, founded in 1837 by the Swiss expatriot Henri-Marc de Venoge in Mareuil-sur-Ay. It was the first Champagne house to produce an illustrated label. The five core wines in the portfolio appear under the Cordon Bleu label: the Brut, vintage Brut, Brut Blanc de Blancs, Extra-Brut and Demi-Sec. The labels of the Brut Rosé and Brut Blanc de Noirs (an 80/20 blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) feature fin-de-siécle portraits of Yvonne de Venoge and her husband Marquis Adrien de Mun. From 2000, De Venoge also began to offer wines from its private collection dating back as far as 1899. It is part of the wider Lanson/BCC (Boizel Chanoine Champagne) group and is based in Epernay.
