Producer Information
Fait Main (from the French for handmade) is a label for wines from Northern California. It is owned and run by winemaker Benoit Touquette and his wife Nikita, who takes care of sales, marketing and business management. The portfolio is based around single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons from some of Californi'as best vineyards. Current colaborations include Tierra Roja and Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper in Oakville and Beckstoffer Las Piedras in St Helena. In addition, a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made from fruit from all of Fait Main's vineyard sources. Earlier single vineyard releases may still be found on retailer shelves. Benoit was born in Lyon and studied oenology in France, but has spent much of his working life based in Napa. He is also partner-winemaker for Realm Cellars, while Teeter-Totter is another personal project.
