Producer Information
Signorello Estate is a Napa Valley wine producer best known for its Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The first vines were planted in 1977 by the Signorello family, and today the winery is operated by second generation family member, Raymond Signorello Jr. The estate has produced around 6000 cases of wine annually. The estate is located along the Silverado Trail on the eastern side of the Napa Valley. It covers approximately 40 hectares (100 acres) of land, which is planted to almost 17 hectares (42 acres) of vines. More than half of this is dedicated to Signorello's key variety, Cabernet Sauvignon. The remainder includes Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. Signorello Estate's vines are tended to and picked by hand. Fruit is triple-sorted – twice by hand – before it is fermented in French oak barrels with native yeasts.
