Producer Information
Vinehill Ranch or VHR is a premium estate producer of Cabernet Sauvignon wine in Oakville, Napa Valley. The Phillips Family has farmed the Oakville ranch for three generations. The family first purchased the land in the late 1950s, but records show that agriculture on the ranch dates back to 1884. Moderate temperatures and plenty of sunshine here create ideal conditions for many crops. Today, the property is divided into seven blocks of grapevines, all planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. Each differs in age and soil type. Each year, the estate releases the VHR vintage exclusively to members, usually in February or March, depending on the aging process of the wine. The 2018 'extended barrel-age' was released in February 2024.
