Producer Information
Myriad Cellars is a wine producer based in California's Napa Valley. Founder Mike Smith released his first vintage under the Myriad Cellars label in 2005, and today the estate's portfolio is largely dedicated to single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon wines, with smaller offerings of single-vineyard Syrah and Sémillon. Numerous wines have received perfect 100-point scores from numerous publications, including former US wine critic Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Myriad Cellars makes wines from a selection of Napa Valley vineyards. The most famous of these is the 10-hectare (25-acre) Beckstoffer Dr. Crane vineyard in St Helena, which was planted in 1858 and sits atop deep alluvial soils. Seven rows of its Cabernet Sauvignon vines are harvested to produce Myriad Cellars' Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard 'Elysian' Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The wines are made at the Tamber Bey Winery in Calistoga.
