      Distillery Information

Stonestreet Estate Vineyards is a California wine producer in Sonoma County's sub-appellation Alexander Valley. It is best known for its range of single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines. Stonestreet was founded by California wine industry pioneer Jess Jackson in 1989, after the purchased of the Zellerbach winery. Jackson was the founder of the major distributor Jackson Family Wines and was half of the namesake for the brand Kendall-Jackson. Stonestreet (as it is often simply referred-to) remains part of the Jackson Family Wines portfolio. The estate vineyards comprise roughly 400 hectares (1000 acres) on a undulating property within the foothills of the Mayacamas mountains. Vineyards are planted across the property and range in elevation from 400 to 2400 feet (120-730m) above sea level. The significant difference in elevations, vine-spacing, and various aspects and exposures of the plots mean the estate has an array of mesoclimates. Individual plots demand different farming practices dictated by the specifics of the vineyard site. Stonestreet has multiple ranges within the wineportfolio. The Single Vineyard collection is sourced from Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay whilst the Estate collection includes varietal wines from multiple estate vineyards. The Library Wines is a selection that have aged in the cellar for at least ten years.
