Ardmore Thompson Bros 25-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Sindhri mango, kumquat, farmyardy, scented petrol, pinot gris, fennel leaves, a gorse bush that is on fire.

Palate: BBQ’d yellow fruits, creamy texture, lemongrass, akin to an early 90s frog, eucalyptus, a lovely balance of phenols and sweetness.

Finish: Dark chocolate with some biscoff, ashy and round at the very end.

Distillery Information

Ardmore was founded in 1898 as part of the late-Victorian wave of Scottish distillery openings. It was constructed by the blending company William Teacher & Sons as their first production facility. The location near Kennethmont was chosen due to its proximity to the east Highland barley fields and River Deveron.
