Ballantine’s was founded in 1827 by George Ballantine in Edinburgh, beginning as a small grocer specializing in quality whiskies. The brand grew rapidly, becoming one of Scotland’s most recognized blended Scotch producers. Now produced at the Dumbarton distillery under Pernod Ricard, Ballantine’s is known for blending over fifty single malts and four single grains to create its signature smoothness.
