Filled into cask #5255 in 1993, it matured for 15 years before bottling in 2008. The nose reveals subtle honeyed notes, intertwined with hints of dried fruit and gentle spices. On the palate, it offers a balanced profile, showcasing oak and vanilla alongside a mild citrus character. Distillery Information

One of Speyside's most famous single malts, located in Dufftown and owned by William Grant and Sons. The distillery was founded in the late 1800s by William Grant, who worked at the Mortlach distillery nearby. Master Distiller David Stewart is credited with making Balvenie the powerhouse we know today. David worked at Balvenie for many decades and introduced many innovations that are now widespread across the industry including 'cask finishes' where whiskies are aged for a period in ex-Bourbon wood before being finished for a relative short period in a more active barrel.
