The distillery, officially named Distilleria Bepi Tosolini, was founded after World War II by Beppe Tosolini, who was an innovator in the field of grappa production. Bepi is a diminutive of Giuseppe, which is Beppe's formal name, hence, the company name pays homage to its founder.
