Nose: Rich caramel and toasted oak layered with dark chocolate, dried fruit, and baking spices.

Palate: Bold and full-bodied; vanilla cream meets cherry compote, nutmeg, subtle rye spice and charred oak.

Finish: Long and warm with leather, molasses, lingering toasted oak and spice.

Distillery Information

Founded in 1787 on the banks of the Kentucky River, the Buffalo Trace Distillery has earned a reputation as America’s oldest continuously operating distillery. Under the stewardship of master distillers over the decades, it pioneered the modern single-barrel bourbon category when Blanton’s was introduced in 1984. The 2024 Special Edition celebrates four decades of that single‐barrel legacy, combining vintage barrels selected for depth and complexity and packaged as a high-proof, limited-edition commemorative release. This release continues Buffalo Trace’s tradition of marrying tradition, innovation and craftsmanship in American bourbon.
