Nose: Wood, cinnamon, corn syrup, cherry, clove, and alcohol.

Palate: Woody and spicy but not overly hot or bitter. Subtle cherry and vanilla. Water improves the flavors, increases the sweetness, and balances this one out.

Finish: Warm to hot with drying wood and lingering sweetness and spice.

Distillery Information

Booker's is a brand of small batch, ultra-premium Bourbon, bottled straight out of cask uncut and unfiltered. Booker's was established in 1988 in Kentucky and is produced by Jim Beam distillery. The Bourbon was established by Jim Beam's grandson, Booker Noe – a sixth-generation master distiller, who began Booker's as a personal project. Casks intended for the premium bourbon are selected and placed at the center of the Jim Beam distillery rackhouse for optimal humidity and temperature. A few batches each year are released in limited quantities at varying proofs and ages – no two batches are the same. Booker's Bourbons are bottled straight from barrel when deemed ready. Batches are generally aged six to eight years at the distillery before release and bottled at a proof of 121 to 130. Booker's prefer to keep a low profile with no advertising or social media.
