This 1998 vintage, 27 Year Old Rum from the since closed Caroni distillery was bottled at 62.2% ABV and is one of only 180 bottles released from Cask #251. Overipe fruits, salty olive brine and a touch of diesel give that 'Caroni' tangy edge to the nose. Fruit, vanilla and spices from the cask give a rusty minerality followed by a long dry robust finish of cigar leaves, brown sugar and wood.
