Captain Don Domingo de Cartavio, acquired the land where we now find Cartavio, in the year 1675 and was responsible for giving this city its name. It is now the name associated with this delicious brand of Peruvian rums. The story of Cartavio Rum Company S.A.C. dates back as far as 1929.
