The Chicken Cock Root Beer is flavored like the soft drink renowned more for ice-cream floats than booze and recommended as a shooter. According to the 2013 filling with the federal Tax and Trade Bureau, the whiskey is produced out of rectification and flavor specialists Terressentia out of South Carolina but owned by Matti Antilla of Grain and Barrel Brands (formerly Island Club Brands) of Florida, though the bottle mentions a Chicken Cock Whiskey as the owner.
