Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: Bright and vibrant. Rich with tropical fruits and vanilla, with subtle notes of honeyed beeswax.

Finish: Finish is very smooth and long.

Distillery Information

"Clynelish distillery was founded in 1819 by the Duke of Sutherland to use surplus barley from his estate and provide employment for his tenants. The original distillery was replaced by a new, larger one built in 1967, which began production in 1969 and is the distillery known today. For a time, the old distillery ran as "Clynelish B" before being renamed Brora and focusing on peated whisky until its closure in 1983."
