Nose: Fresh apple aromas combine with walnut and subtle ginger spice. Sicilian lime comes to the for alongside subtle aged leather.
Palate: Smooth poached pear flavours give way to apricot and banana. A hint of vanilla develops with pineapple and mature oak.
Finish: Full and long finish with lingering citrus zest.
Distillery Information
Originally founded in 1819 as Clynelish Distillery by Marquis of Stafford (later known as the Duke of Sutherland) to create a market for his tenant farmers' grain. Now known as the Brora distillery, it lies on the northern outskirts of the village of Brora on the Sutherland coast.
