Distillery Information
Cygnet Gin is based in Wales. Welsh Mezzo Soprano Katherine Jenkins OBE established it in 2022. The idea came in 2021 after she discovered a unique Welsh spirit. Her goal was to make hand-crafted spirits in Wales. Katherine Jenkins designed Cygnet to appeal to women. The brand's bottle design and the gin are aimed at female gin lovers. Cygnet is all about quality and is something women can enjoy. Katherine worked with her husband, Andrew Levitas, and designer Eric Villency on Cygnet Gin. They focused on the design of reusable glass bottles, the brand's logos, and the choice of botanicals. This led to Cygnet 22, a gin that's good neat or with mixers. The distillery in Wales has Blodwen, a 300-litre Arnold Holstein copper pot still. Katherine named it. Blodwen is key to making Cygnet Gin. Master distiller Aster and her team use traditional methods and Welsh water to produce the gin.
