Distillery Information

The Dalmore distillery was founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson on the banks of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery's iconic 12-pointed Royal Stag emblem dates back to 1263 when a Mackenzie clan member saved King Alexander III's life, a symbol of royalty that the Mackenzie family, who took over the distillery in 1867, placed on every bottle.
