The history of the Dictador brand goes back to 1751 when Severo Arango y Ferro arrived to Cartagena, where his power would soon earn him the nickname of Dictador. More than a century later, in 1913, Don Julio Arango y Parra, a descendant of the Dictador established Destileria Colombiana.
