Nose: Foursquare all the way, the combination of fine wood and finer spirit gives a light vanilla with gentle caramel and medjool dates.
Palate: Clean, wonderful vanilla and oak with a light spiritous note. The perfect combination of spice and sweetness that makes Foursquare one of the best distilleries in the world.
Finish: So soft and delicious on the roof of the mouth, an oily, lingering vanilla with sharp tannins and a luscious alcoholic burn that tingles far longer than it has any right to.
Distillery Information
It was opened by the Seale family in 1996 as the only Barbadian owned distillery in Barbados. Foursquare distillery is now run by Richard Seale, 4th generation Trader/Distiller of R.L Seale & Co. Richard Seale has his own personal projects which showcase unique approaches to Rum blending and maturation.
