A splendid dry gin from the Highlands, where things aren't always quite so dry. Drookit is Scots for extremely wet or drenched, however, the varying weather does enable an array of local botanicals to grow, some of which found their way to the Pixel Spirits Distillery – and into this gin! The likes of rowan berries, heather, silver birch sap, and rosehips are joined by grapefruit, pink pepper, and other classics resulting in a delicately floral and fruity dry gin.

Nose: floral and fruity. Rowan berries, heather, silver birch sap, and rosehips.
Palate: Grapefruit, pink pepper and berries.
Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.
Distillery Information
Founded by husband and wife team, Craig and Noru Innes, the Pixel Spirits distillery has been self-built based in a converted barn in the scenic grounds of the Loch Leven Hotel in the tiny village of North Ballachulish near Glencoe and Fort William. Pixel Spirits produce small batches of truly unique gins using locally foraged ingredients wherever possible. In addition to their core range of gins, 2020 saw the release of the 'Artisan Gins' which are made in smaller batches on a seasonal basis. In spring 2021, Pixel Spirits also released their first rums - a white rum as well as a golden rum.
