March 24, 1613 Blackwell, a British robber, stopped off on the island of Reunion, called Santa Apolonia since 1507, and renamed it England's Forest because the lushness of the vegetation reminded him of his country. The island kept this name until 1642 when it became Mascarin Island. This authentic Whiskey is the culmination of a passion. This first Overseas Whiskey was designed and manufactured by Georges-Guillaume Louapre-Pottier from Reunion.
