The brand was initially created by Frank Silverman in 1957 and bottled by the Hoffman Distilling Company in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky until the 1970s. Since then it has been produced by Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown who also brings Rebel Yell, David Nicholson and Blood Oath brands to life.
