This is an exceptional 100% cane juice rum from Marie Galante’s Bielle distillery. Distilled in a column still and fully tropically aged 19 years in a ex-Bourbon barrel. After the barrel this rum was put in Dame Jeanne for 2 years, which continued to give it all its elegance.

Famille Ricci Exception Marie Galante 19 Year Old Bielle | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: On the nose, mirabelle plum and plum intertwine with a slight liquorice.

Palate: On the palate, a spicy woodiness accompanies throughout the tasting notes of quince marmalade, candied lemon, black cherry and a feeling of mocha bringing a nice richness.

Finish: The silky finish lets notes of Morello cherries coated in a dark chocolate coating linger over time.
