"Filey Bay distillery's story is about bringing whisky making home to Yorkshire, rooted in family farming, a commitment to quality from "field to bottle," and embracing regenerative practices to improve the land while creating a distinctively light, fruity single malt whisky, the first of its kind in the region. Founded by David Thompson and Tom Mellor (of Spirit of Yorkshire), they leveraged their own barley, local water, and expertise from whisky legend Dr. Jim Swan to craft a unique spirit, aiming to add value to their farm."
