Nose: Very nutty - toasted coconut, roasted peanuts - and rich marzipan. Unmistakeably a mature single grain whisky.

Palate: The grain whisky brings molten Demerara sugar and coconut toasties, whilst the port cask weighs in with stewed apricots, raisins, and a some tingly nutmeg.

Finish: Elegant long-lasting aftertaste.

Girvan is a Scottish grain distillery located in South Ayrshire and established in 1963, it is part of the William Grant & Sons family. The distillery uses a continuous column still for distillation, allowing for a smooth and light spirit, primarily used in blends. Girvan is also recognized for its single grain whisky expressions, which are often aged in American oak barrels, resulting in notes of vanilla, caramel, and subtle fruit.
