Nose: Sweet peat and jammy stone fruits lead the way, with fragrant notes of prunes, drying spice, and fresh tobacco.
Palate: Rich notes of dark fruit and candied ginger join marmalade, smoked honey, and grilled tropical fruits.
Finish: Chocolate coffee beans, dried berries, cinnamon biscuits, a touch of bonfire smoke.
Distillery Information
Named after one of the first licensed distilleries in Scotland. The original Glasgow Distillery Company was founded in 1770, subsequently operated under a number of different names, and produced unpeated, peated, and triple distilled single malt until its eventual closure in 1902.
