Nose: Fruity and zesty, with dried stone fruits and tangy marmalade, toffee, fruit cake, and toasted oak.
Palate: Stewed stone fruits, toffee apples, tropical notes of grilled pineapple, fudge, and fruit cake spice.
Finish: Toasted marzipan, zesty orange peels, anise, and hints of clove.

The original Glasgow Distillery Company was founded in 1770, subsequently operated under a number of different names, and produced unpeated, peated, and triple distilled single malt until its eventual closure in 1902.
