Glasgow 1770 Small Batch Series - Constantia Wine Cask Unpeated 5 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Vibrant aromas of fresh apricot, ripe peach, and juicy clementine mingle with rich vanilla, unfolding into delicate floral hints of jasmine and honeysuckle.

Palate: A luscious burst of fresh fruit is beautifully balanced by floral tones and the deep sweetness of manuka honey. Flavors of sweet pink grapefruit and ripe peach intertwine with apricot compote and creamy vanilla ice cream, accented by a subtle almond nuttiness.

Finish: long and fruit-forward, with lingering notes of light honeyed sweetness, a touch of fresh ginger, and a whisper of 80% cacao dark chocolate.

Distillery Information

Glasgow Distillery is a modern distillery in the southwest of Glasgow. Founded in 2015, it was the first malt distillery in the city for more than a century. In 2018, the distillery produced its inaugural releases and produces three styles of core single malt: Original, Peated and Triple Distilled with a light approachable style underpinning all of them. The distillery also produces cask releases alongside its range of Gin, Vodka and Rum.
