Nose: Rich dark fruits intertwine with vibrant vanilla and toasted oak, revealing opulent aromas of blackberries and raspberries accented by a hint of pink peppercorn.
Palate: Opens with juicy notes of fresh strawberries and cream, unfolding into deeper waves of dark fruits — black cherries and ripe raspberries — complemented by undertones of dark chocolate and freshly ground espresso.
Finish: Long and lingering, leaving impressions of charred oak, dark chocolate, liquorice, and a warming cracked black peppercorn spice.
Distillery Information
Glasgow Distillery is a modern distillery in the southwest of Glasgow. Founded in 2015, it was the first malt distillery in the city for more than a century. In 2018, the distillery produced its inaugural releases and produces three styles of core single malt: Original, Peated and Triple Distilled with a light approachable style underpinning all of them. The distillery also produces cask releases alongside its range of Gin, Vodka and Rum.
