From independent bottler, this Glenburgie 50 Year Old is an exceptionally rare single malt, limited to just 109 bottles and matured for half a century in an American bourbon hogshead. Bottled at 40.5% abv, it offers refined layers of citrus, gooseberry and subtle aged character, unfolding into silky green orchard fruit, jasmine tea and delicate oak. The finish lingers gracefully with fading notes of jasmine and fruit, capturing remarkable elegance and balance.

Distillery Information

Glenburgie Distillery is located near Forres in Speyside and was established in 1829. Known for producing light and fruity single malt Scotch whiskies, Glenburgie plays a key role as a component in various blended Scotch whiskies, most notably in Ballantine's. The distillery’s name comes from its proximity to the Glenburgie farm where it was originally built. Although much of its production is used for blends, Glenburgie single malts are appreciated for their fresh, orchard fruit flavours with a hint of malt, making them a hidden gem within the Speyside whisky landscape.
