Glengoyne Teapot Dram Batch #9 Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Crème caramel, treacle, apple strudel, almond, chocolate coated raisins, hint of candied violet and spice.
Palate: Rich and velvety sticky toffee pudding, dates, hints of cinnamon and clove, dark berries and dried fruits, increasing sherry notes.
Finish: Rich, long sherry notes, raisin, apricot, hint of tropical fruits.
Distillery Information
The distillery began distilling in 1833 and was known as the Burnfoot distillery. It was originally owned by George Connell who built the distillery and took out a lease on the surrounding land, on which was built a warehouse which is still in use today.
