Invergordon Thompson Bros 34 Year Old Single Grain Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Very elegant and precise aromas.

Palate: Notes of white blossom, quince, white chocolate and baked orchard fruit, leading into crème caramel, melon, mango and demerara sweetness.

Finish: Gentle vanilla sponge and subtle oak shape a rounded finish with hints of Cointreau.

Distillery Information

The Invergordon distillery was founded in 1959 in the Highland town of the same name to create jobs after the closure of the naval dockyard. Production began in 1961, focusing on single grain Scotch whisky, and it is now the northernmost grain distillery in Scotland.
