ALL ORDERS PLACED ARE GUARANTEED and WILL NOT be cancelled like with other retailers. Many other small liquor store sites will end up cancelling your order due to the high demand and unavailability.
Size: 375ML
Proof: 117 (58.5%ABV)
Origin: United States
Distillery: Jack Daniel's
This special release is an experimental variation of Jack Daniel’s whiskey using sweet mash fermentation rather than the usual sour mash, spotlighting early-season production techniques. It carries the same grain bill as classic Jack Daniel’s (80% corn, 12% malted barley, 8% rye) but aged nearly nine years on upper floors of the Track 2 barrelhouse. The result is a rich, high-proof whiskey expressing bold butterscotch, pecan, berry, and caramel character. It’s a rare and collector-oriented release that reveals another side of Jack Daniel’s technique.
Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series No. 15 Sweet Mash Tennessee Whiskey | 375ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Butterscotch, toasted pecan, ripe berry, caramel, and warm oak tones.
Palate: Deep sweetness with dark fruit, nutty pecan, layered caramel, and wood spice accent.
Finish: Long and intense, with lingering candied pecan, oak char, and berry echoes.
Distillery Information
Jack Daniel’s Distillery, located in Lynchburg, Tennessee, is one of the most iconic producers of Tennessee whiskey, famous for its charcoal mellowing (Lincoln County Process) and traditional methods. While most of its expressions follow a sour mash process, the distillery conducts a smaller sweet mash run at the start of each distilling season, intended to kick off fermentation without using prior mash. Distillery Series No. 15 brings this rarely used method to light by aging the whiskey in charred oak barrels in hot upper rickhouse conditions to enhance wood influence and depth. Selection for bottling was done by Kathy Thurmond (Whiskey Taster / Quality Control Manager), ensuring only the most expressive barrels made the cut. This release is limited, often available only at the distillery or select retailers in Tennessee.
