Jos. A. Magnus & Co. is a Bourbon and dry gin distillery located in Holland of West Virginia. The historic producer started in Cincinnati and later reestablished in D.C prior to moving to Holland in 2020. Jos. A. Magnus & Co. dates back to the middle of the 19th Century. Joseph A. Magnus begun a wholesale liquor company in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company found success distributing the Murray Hill Club Whiskey prior to Prohibition in 1918. The leading spirit of the portfolio is the Joseph Magnus Bourbon, produced in commemoration of the founding father. It is finished in Sherry, Pedro Ximénez and Cognac casks. It is bottled at 100 proof. The Joseph Magnus is blended with 11 and 18-year-old whiskeys to create the Cigar Blend bourbon. It has distint aromas of tobacco and spice to pair with cigar smoking. The gin range is composed of the Vigilant District Dry Gin of which is complemented by the Vigilant Navy Strength Gin, bottled at 114 proof.
