Kilchoman 13 Year Old 2025 Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Citrus zest and floral notes, balanced by toffee pear and fresh pear smoke.
Palate: Preserved fruits coat the mouth, accompanied by waves of integrated smoke, toasted hazelnuts, and brioche sweetness.
Finish: Biscuit, honey and long-lasting fresh fruits with smoldering hints of peat smoke.
Distillery Information
Kilchoman Distillery (pronounced Kil-ho-man) is a single malt Scotch whisky produced in Islay. The family run distillery was founded by Anthony and Kathy Wills in 2005 and remains independently owned. Kilchoman is self-acclaimed as Islay's only single farm single malt whisky producer.; as well as the distillery, Kilchoman farm 930 hectares (2,300 acres) with various agriculture including 162 hectares (400 acres) of barley crop. The distillery is named after the Kilchoman Church of which stands beneath the cliffs of Creag Mhór. The core range of whiskies from Kilchoman consists of four bottlings all with varying degrees of peat and oak. The limited edition range includes the Madeira Cask Matured and the Loch Gorm of which is matured in ex-oloroso sherry casks for a minimum of eight years.
