Nose: Zesty notes of dried lemon, apples, pears, grassy peat smoke, and toasted oak.
Palate: Citrus oil and earthy peat join waves of dried fruit, warming pepper, and a smidge of nutmeg.
Finish: Cracked peppercorns, sherried fruits, warming smoke.

"Kilchoman's story is about founder Anthony Wills' vision for a traditional, farm-scale distillery on Islay, becoming the island's first new distillery in 124 years (2005). Starting with a small setup, they grew barley on-site, malting some themselves, creating a distinctive "farm-to-glass" experience with lighter, citrus-forward peated whiskies, overcoming early financial and logistical hurdles to become a beloved independent family business known for its quality and unique approach."
