Killowen Dalriadan Part 1 of 2 is an 11-year-old blended malt whiskey inspired by the ancient kingdom of Dál Riata. A blend 40% of smoky peated whisk and 60% light and fruity whiskey from a County Antrim distillery, this whiskey was finished for three years in oloroso sherry butts. Aromas of fruit salad, apricot, lemon, pineapple and smouldering peat fill the nose, complemented by notes of cranberry, tobacco leaves, cigar box, acrid smoke, dried apricots, tart lemon and garden herbs throughout the palate.
