Nose: Chocolate fudge, toffee apples, brown sugar, crème brûlée, cinnamon.
Palate: Sweet cinder toffee, black treacle, vanilla fudge, cocoa, black cherries, and ginger.
Finish: Plum skins, orange marmalade and drying oak.

"Knockdhu Distillery, founded by John Morrison in 1893 near Banffshire, Scotland, was a modern vision utilizing local peat, barley, and pure spring water from Knock Hill, becoming the first distillery built by the Distillers Company Ltd (DCL). After periods of closure (1931-33, WWII) and ownership changes, Inver House acquired it in 1988 and reopened it in 1989, relaunching its single malt as anCnoc (Gaelic for "the hill") in 1994 to avoid confusion with Knockando. Known for its light, distinct spirit, anCnoc continues traditional methods, blending its historic roots with modern appeal."
