Nose: Rich and creamy with notes of banana flambee, cured salami, rum and raisin ice cream, hazelnut, and butter fudge.

Palate: A brilliant balance of creamy sweetness and gentle peat smoke. Chewy caramels, robust malt, nutty maple syrup, and elegant waves of charred wood. Dark chocolate and gentle spices join in time.

Finish: Notes of roasted coffee and malty dark beer, smoky, sweet, creamy, and nutty. A touch of flamed orange peel, rhubarb and custard sweeties, strawberry laces, tannic sherried oak.

Distillery Information

"Ledaig is the smoky, peated whisky from the historic Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, founded as Ledaig in 1798 by John Sinclair; its story is one of resilience, with multiple closures and revivals, eventually settling into its dual identity (unpeated Tobermory/peated Ledaig) under Burn Stewart Distillers in the 1990s, capturing the island's wild spirit with its distinctive maritime, bonfire-like peat and coastal character."
