Ledaig Hebridean Moon Cask Strength 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: An earthy smoke fades to reveal soft vanilla, double cream and candied fruit with a gentle spice and touch of cracked black pepper.
Palate: Packed full of citrus notes reminiscent of lemon drizzle cake, balanced with notes of fresh leather, tobacco and a hint of toasted oak.
Finish: A warm medicinal smoke lingers with a gentle cinnamon spice.

(Le-Chig) In present day we know Ledaig as the delightfully peaty expression from the Tobermory distillery. Originally however, the name of Ledaig was used for this Isle of Mull distillery when established in 1798 by John Sinclair. Meaning “Safe Haven” in Gaelic, the production of Ledaig and Tobermory Whisky is split 50/50. The character of Ledaig traditionally is sweet and oily with a heavy reek of earthy smoke. This bold, punchy peat monster can go toe to toe with the finest peated whiskies from Islay.
