Linkwood 14 Year Old Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland James Eadie Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Blossom honey, ripe pear, vanilla and soft herbs.

Palate: Lemon drizzle cake, apple tart, creamy malt and light spice.

Distillery Information

"Linkwood Distillery, founded by Peter Brown in 1821 near Elgin, Speyside, is a historic distillery known for its light, elegant spirit, essential to famous blends like Johnnie Walker but often bottled independently. Its story involves family ownership, acquisition by Diageo, a legendary manager (Roderick MacKenzie) who resisted change (even cobwebs!), the building of a second distillery (Linkwood B) in the '70s, and the eventual demolition of the original site for expansion, all while maintaining a prized, delicate style for blenders and enthusiasts."
