Macallan 1990 - Bottled 2011 Speymalt Gordon & Macphail Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Rosewater, honey and liquorish form a sweet nose.

Palate: A well rounded palate with notes of dark chocolate shavings, black pepper - with a silky mouth-feel.

Finish: The finish is reminiscent of red apples with a little milk chocolate on the tail.

Distillery Information

The Macallan's origins can be traced back to 1824 when Alexander Reid established a distillery on the banks of the River Spey in Scotland. The original facility was little more than a farmer's barn, but with hard work and dedication, Reid and his family's business quickly grew.
