Neisson ESB Mizunara Bio Foundations | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Full-bodied and heady. Highly peppery and lemony, the aromatic palette is simultaneously fruity (pear, pineapple), mentholated and fibrous (sugar cane). On aeration, citrus zest (lemon, grapefruit) adds a pleasantly acidic touch to this very dense olfactory ensemble.
Palate: Clean and lively. An exact copy of the nose, but the palate is milder and more herbaceous (alfalfa, cut hay). It then becomes more floral, honeyed (lavender), infused (sage, verbena) and progressively more exotic (pineapple).
Finish: Long and full-bodied.

The Rum distillery was founded in 1932 by the Neisson brothers on the Thieubert estate in Le Carbet on the island of Martinique. The Neisson logo, a merchant ship, alludes to the family's beginnings as merchants.
