A 1988 North British single grain whisky from indie bottler Douglas Laing that was matured in a single Pedro Ximenez sherry cask for more than three decades, before being bottled in December 2021 as part of its Xtra Old Particular series. Aromas of spiced redcurrants, polished oak and blackberry coulis fill the nose, complemented by notes of honey, burnt brioche, brown sugar, toffee apples and ripe strawberries throughout the palate.
