Old Brothers MGB Batch #2 | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Tart, candied lemon, fine bitterness of grapefruit skin, kumquat, accompanied by notes of nut cake, freshly ripped tree bark and licorice stick.

Palate: It begins with freshly squeezed orange juice, orange caramel, fudge, then develops with notes of nutshells, spices (nutmeg, cinnamon) and licorice.

Finish: Very long, supported by a fine vegetable bitterness, it slowly fades out on spices.

Distillery Information

The Clarendon distillery is a major player in Jamaican rum, located in the south of the island. Its history began with the Monymusk Sugar Estate, a sugar estate dating back to the 18th century. Few written records of the estate's life have survived.
