Those wonderful folks over at Berry Bros. & Rudd bottled up a fabulous Orkney single malt Scotch whisky exclusively for us! It was distilled back in 1999 (though the distillery remains a mystery, but seeing as there's really aren't all that many distilleries in Orkney, you've got good odds for guessing the correct one) and aged in a single hogshead until 2021, when it was bottled at 52.6% ABV. Only 204 of these bottles were produced, and you wont find them anywhere else but here!

Orkney 1999 (Bottled 2021) (Cask #35) – Berry Bros. & Rudd | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Sea spray, melon, hickory, honey, and a hint of apricot yoghurt.

Palate: Fresh ginger, yet more honey, Sesame Snaps, a few touches of tobacco.

Finish: A long finish, with creamy vanilla and poached pear, punctuated by soft smoke.

Distillery Information

Berry's Brothers and Rudd was founded in 1698, making it one of the oldest wine merchants in the world. BBR also produce their own liqueurs (The Kings Ginger Liqueur being one of the most popular) and release lots of wonderful whiskies as an independent bottler.
