Plantation Extreme No. 4 24 Year Old Jamaica Rum Tasting Notes
Nose: This rum has an extremely strong aroma - at the beginning it shows an extremely fruity profile of bitter orange peels with gingerbread, cinnamon, nutmeg and guava in the background.
Palate: Very strong and rich fruit notes in the taste - this is accompanied by woody notes, as well as pecans, cloves, peaches, blueberries, tangerines and lemongrass - also fine smoky notes and cocoa butter.
Finish: A pleasing, very long finish.

Founded in 1753, Long Pond is a sugar estate and distillery in the Jamaican Parish of Trelawny (also home to Hampden Estate). It was one of many sugar estates that were shut down or consolidated due to falling sugar prices over the course of time.
